Launching Hands Of Fashion: A Brand By the Artisans of the Ethical Fashion Initiative
Rooted in sustainability, empowerment, and heritage, the brand brings together different lines of products, each crafted by skilled artisans within our social enterprise partners across Africa. By bridging traditional techniques with contemporary design, HOF creates high-quality, ethically made pieces that empower artisan communities—especially women—while driving economic and social change.
We are proud to launch the brand with its first capsule collection, 100% made in Kenya by our social enterprise Tujikuze, showcasing the artistry and expertise of local artisans through thoughtfully designed accessories that honor craftsmanship and sustainability.
This collection embodies sustainability, circularity, and craftsmanship, celebrating locally sourced materials while supporting artisan communities and preserving traditional craftsmanship.
Each piece, 100% handmade in Kenya is thoughtfully designed to merge tradition with contemporary style, creating timeless and meaningful accessories.
Crafted with vegetable-tanned leather soles and semi-vegetable full-grain leather uppers, our sandals ensure durability and comfort. Linings are made with white-blue tanning leather for a refined finish.
Designed with a commitment to sustainability, our bags highlight Kenya’s rich weaving traditions:
All leather used in this collection is sourced from a GOLD-certified tannery under the Leather Working Group, ensuring responsible and sustainable tanning practices.
The HOF first capsule collection has been produced in Kenya, by the Artisans of Tujikuze Ethical Fashion Initiative with the support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).
